The SESRC uses its own in-house technology to conduct online surveys that incorporate the core visual design principles outlined by Don A. Dillman’s Tailored Design Method (TDM). Our survey designers and programmers use a combination of web technologies to create dynamic web surveys unconstrained by commercial software limitations.
Our secure web based data collection relies on passwords and/or PINs to ensure survey responses are confidential, that only respondents selected for the study have access to the survey, and that there is no duplication of survey respondents. Features of our web based survey include branching, error checks, data validation procedures and data saved question by question.
SESRC’s own NetSurveyWorks manages samples, access codes and monitors survey progress.
