The SESRC is committed to staying abreast of emerging technologies and their application to social and economic research. Our main administrative facilities are on the first floor of Wilson-Short Hall at Washington State University. This is the primary headquarters for our administrative, project management, and data management units. The Center has a training and consultation facility for statistical and methodological topics. Our unique cognitive testing lab is also located here.

WSU Research Park: Pullman, WA

The Research Park office is the location for the SESRC’s data collection unit. A team of full-time personnel manage an average of 100-200 student interviewers. We currently have 51 fully functional interviewing stations, 12 of which are used primarily for interviewer training. All interviewing stations are connected via our secure intranet and outgoing calls are handled over a digital VoIP telephone system. Interviews and call scheduling is handled through our licensed Voxco CATI software. We have commercial-level printers designed to support large-scale print jobs, as well as postal metering machines to handle the SESRC’s state-of-the-art mail surveys.
