Mr. Strawn obtained a master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology in 2010 and joined the SESRC as a Study Director and Data Manager in 2014. Prior to the SESRC, he gained experience in visitation and usage research, data collection methodology, data analysis, and database management at the University of Idaho’s Park Studies Unit. Mr. Strawn contributes on a variety of SESRC projects and is the project manager on visitor surveys conducted for the Bureau of Land Management and the National Park Service. Mr. Strawn is responsible for designing data collection instruments and materials, supervising field work, training field staff, conducting analyses, sampling, and survey programming.
